2) Replace the other rear (left) with a hollow spoke to balance off left and right (but may create more of a problem with front and rear) and save another 5lbs at the dealers expense?

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Here's what happened:
I picked up my 99' 996 Cab last Wednesday. It is a Porsche certified vechicle. I took it for a drive and wasn't really impressed with the tracking ability of the car or the handling. I had a friend drive it as well and he wasn't really impressed either. I just felt like something was off; the car drifted to the left under accel and decel. I brought it back to the dealer the next morning and demanded the sales rep go for a ride. He said "I drive 911's all day long and just got back from Florida racing for 3 days, if there's something wrong I'll know." He said it was fine although I could see he was struggling with the wheel as well.
Anyway, to make a long story short (er) I found out that the car has 3 Turbo Look wheels (solid spoke) and one real Turbo Wheel (hollow spoke) on the right rear. The wheels look identical from the outside but the hollow spoke weighs 5 lbs less and may have a different off set. So...this is why my car handles wacky. So, I guess Mr. Salesman wasn't all that after all...
So, the question is should I:
1) Replace this oddball rim with the turbo look at the dealers expense?
2) Replace the other rear (left) with a hollow spoke to balance off left and right (but may create more of a problem with front and rear) and save another 5lbs at the dealers expense?
3) Try to upgrade to all hollow spoke wheels (I'll have to share this expense)?
The dealer will try to go for #1 for cost reasons. I'd like # 3 but will have to come out of pocket on that one. If I go with #2 will I be better or worse off than #1?
Thanks.
Just for reference, I picked up a nice set of hollow spokes for a grand. At the time I bought them, there were a few sets being sold on 6speedonline. Seems the turbo guys switch them out quickly for some BlInG.
Edit: just realized you have a narrowbody; may be difficult to source used.
Kam,
If you are serious we could work something out. I hope the solid spoke you have is a rear unit
because that's the hollow spoke that I have. Your car must handle funny too then, unless you haven't put them on yet.

Randy:
I am serious. My turbo look wheel is on the rear.
I think we shoud check the part number and make sure they are the same.
I'll check tonight when I get home.
Kam
No...unfortunately he didn't even know what they were. Otherwise, I definitely would have made them eat it. I was going to go the route of "fix this problem, without adding ANY weight to my car"....
I'd say to make the swap with the board member and hold on to your documentation or drive it back to the dealer and make mention also offer an inspection. It would be easier for them to fess-up and give you some sort of credit on the mix-up. Maybe they can do some sort of service credit for the issue they never caught... You did say certified... didn't you?
One last thing... speak to the sales manager first, not the sales guy.

Randy:
Here's the part numbers:
Turbo look:
993.362.140.04
Real hollow spoke: (I'm a little bit confuse here because the wheel has two part numbers)
993.362.138.00B
993.362.140.01A
