The 2 beeps signify that something is unlatched (trunk, hood, doors, locking storage bin, cab top if you have one). Make sure all are secured. What's odd is that on mine, the car will still lock while giving the 2 beep warning. Check to make sure both doors are really closed. What happens if you lock with the key fob? Same behaviour?

I checked all the lids, doors and center console. Usually one beep indicates something is open if I am not mistaken. I have never heard 2 beeps before.

you might have dirt in the hood/trunk switches. clean out the switches with a vacuum cleaner, or even just blow it out of there yourself, and see if the problem goes away. sounds just like a problem i had (and others on here too that i helped with the same info).

2 beeps means there is a fault in the system. They hook you up to the PST2 to find what the fault is. Could be a bad door lock but it can be other things.
