Read evidence and context
Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

0 original-poster resolution reports. Counts can overlap; they are not unique people or a success rate.
0 discussions have direct query context; 0 report a fix in that context. Other evidence may inherit the discussion’s subject.
Suggestion
It came down to personal preference, and I was fortunate to have found an 030-equipped C2 to test drive before making my decision.
Leading evidence: 'Test drive' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Test drive' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.
Source reports, not a diagnosis or a success probability. Counts refer to discussions and can overlap.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I'm kinda gutted after finding out that if I price a C4S with the same options that I did on my C2 with the exception of the rear spolier it's nearly the same. C2 is coming in May.
Am I missing something here?

Well, they are two different cars. If you are talking from a purely what you get for the money view, the C4S does come out as a bargain. That's why I bought it.
There are several reasons why some people prefer the C2. One reason is that you can option out the C2 and come pretty close to a GT3 where you would otherwise not be able to get a street legal GT3. Right, Ed? If the ultimate goal, over several years of ownership, is to have a racing Porsche, all racing Porsche's are based on the rear engine rear wheel drive concept. So, a racing Porsche can start life as a C2. Purists can also claim that I do not have a "true" 911, since mine is AWD, whereas the C2 is "THE" 911.
That's about what I can sum up for you. I may not have all the info for your needs, since obviously I bought the C4S over the C2. However, I am sure that there are a lot of people on this board who would be happy to tell me I made the wrong choice and that you made the right one.

I don't know how to link to it directly, but search for a topic I started called: real cost diff - C4s vs. Carrera coupe
This should provide some valuable information as some rennlist members went through the time of actually costing out all options and doing a direct comparison.
The C4S ended up costing about $4K more than a similarly optioned C2. And when you factor in things that aren't even optionable on the C2 (like turbo brakes and AWD) you can easily convince yourself that the C4S is the better value...
Looking at it from the other direction, Palting gives some good reasons on why you might prefer to spend more for a C2...
From a resale standpoint, I think you'll get a lot more back on a C4S than you would a C2 with your specified options...
Personnaly with the options you listed I would prefer an equally priced C4S stock (I'm not a big fan of automatic transmisions if you recall your earlier post ). But thats a personal choice, whats important is that you should compare both cars and options side to side and see whats best for you. The C4S is not a necesarily a "better" car, it depends on the person who is going to drive it.
Its better to buy a C4S stock than trying to adapt a C2 to C4S spec with added options, the C4S is always going to be a better buy, but it depends on the particular options you want on your car. Personally, if the choice was about of a C4S or a same priced C2 with X51 powerkit, 18" wheels and M030/X74 suspension, I would definately go for a that C2 without hesitation, but thats because I'm mainly interested in performance.
Another person my be happier with a RUF boxer, another with a second hand TT, another with a C4 Tip, another with a C4S, and another with a C2 Cab. The question is what are YOU happier with? go over the options and their effect is on what you want from your Porsche (re-sale value, confort, handling, acceleration, looks, etc) and find out. The C2 may be better for you, don't feel bad just because you could have bought a higher list price car.
I grappled with this, too (my C2 is on the boat).
It came down to personal preference, and I was fortunate to have found an 030-equipped C2 to test drive before making my decision. I also found that some of the "fluff" options I selected (speed yellow console/sports seat backs, yellow stitching, etc) would have driven the MSRP on a C4S well beyond the 85K on my C2.
Can't have the brakes, but do have 220 pounds or so less car to toss around, also. Can I feel it?
Definitely. Apples and apples IMHO, but I agree with others about the higher C4S resale. Hey, it's all good!
Cheers,
Dirk
