Read evidence and context
Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

0 original-poster resolution reports. Counts can overlap; they are not unique people or a success rate.
0 discussions have direct query context; 0 report a fix in that context. Other evidence may inherit the discussion’s subject.
Suggestion
Last time I checked it was going to run around 14 installed.
Leading evidence: 'Run around 14 installed' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Run around 14 installed' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.
Source reports, not a diagnosis or a success probability. Counts refer to discussions and can overlap.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Does anyone know if a chip is out for the 3.6 liter 320 hp Carrera engines for a 6-speed transmission. I have an '03 C4S and am satisfied with it, just wish it had a little more speed burst in it. Upgrading to a Turbo isnt an option yet. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
I wonder why no one wants to reply. I don't know much about the new motors, but will pass along what I've read in the forums several times. A new chip alone won't give you enough additional "speed burst" to feel it. They like to say something like "Porsche didn't leave much on the table with the new motors and factory chip." Thus, after market chips for the 996 (including the '03) won't improve acceleration like they did for the OBD I controlled motors. Noticably improved acceleration requires more changes and more dollars, as with the factory's own performance enhancement for your car; a few more hp for a lot more dollars. A turbo might not satisfy you either, as I've seen turbo owners ask how to enhance acceleration as well. No matter what we've got, we need 15 or 20% more power.
TPC keeps advertising that they're nearly ready to introduce a supercharging system for 996 model years. The C4S is certainly the closest relative of the Turbo--but as has been pointed out, you do pay for it.
TPC does advertise there stupid kit. Although I've heard their boxter kits are great as well as there 993 kits. I've been calling them for the past year to get a release date. It continues to get pushed back a couple months everytime. The price continues to climb as well. Last time I checked it was going to run around 14 installed. There was a recent write-up in the....European car! Maybe it was within the last couple of months. The tester!(was he a paid driver??) claimed to be on the interstate and hold his own against a stock turbo. TPC is claiming 100hp at the wheels. Is this possible? The Honda S2000 have a couple bolt on kits that are putting down 100hp at the wheels! I guess we'll see.
