Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Thanks for the input guys, I'm running RoW M030 with street tires for the present time.

What kind of suspension and tires are you planning to run on the track?
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Are you planning on the Motorsports oiling system upgrade on your 3.4L engine. I'm seriously considering that as my first major mod when the car is off warranty. I'll probably go ahead and do the third radiator and B&M shifter sooner though. What's your thought on these mods?
What kind of suspension and tires are you planning to run on the track?
Unless you are seriously stiffening the car with coilovers and much stiffer springs than stock, and you are planning to run slicks or Hoosiers, you probably don't need the oiling system upgrade. Porsche says it isn't needed unless the car is sustaining over 1G in corners.
Karl
Doug,
I tend to agree with Karl. I doubt I would need the MotorSports oiling system unless I make my car pretty much track only (i.e. much lower, coilovers, GT3 sway bars and racing tires). The third radiator is great for even for occasional track and high speed drives. I have never been disappointed in the B&M shifter decision -- this is the part Porsche should be putting in our cars.
Thanks for the input guys, I'm running RoW M030 with street tires for the present time. Although I intend to go to a dedicated track tire/wheel combo later this year or next. Probably something like a Michelin Sport Cup tire package for my needs. I may also consider a an H&R or Bilstein Coilover/ Gt3 bar setup in the future, however the RoW 030 is more than enough for me at my present skill level. So I can hold off from the oiling upgrade at this time, as I'm not pulling those kind of Gs consistently at the track. Actually the only time I ever suspected any possible oil starvation issues was my one and only autox experience, after driving my last session quite hard I could hear my lifters sounding off while the car idled. IMO autox is much harder on the car than DEs.
Great feedback. I'm definitely doing the third radiator upgrade, in fact I'll e mail Gert today/soon about it. As it is now, my car tends to run a little hot at the track, and of course this is Texas
. Thanks for the DIY instructions on the radiator, should make a good weekend project
.The shifter is on the way thanks to Darren and Matt. <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/beerchug.gif" />
