Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

They were painted and installed by the bodyshop that did my aerokit.

I'm not sure if I recommend doing this, it's just how I did it.

Perhaps I could have changed the offset when I ordered them.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Got my new wheels from Wheel Enhancement today.
Set of 8x18 & 10x18 Kinesis K28 with custom painted centers (Porsche Silver).
I had Bridgestone S03's mounted with 285's in the rear.
Nothing to do but smile, smile, smile...

In theory, the handling would be improved due to the shorter sidewall. A harsh ride is a relative term. While it is not as smooth and soft as a Caddilac, it certainly is not harsh compared to my track car with coil overs and monoballs.
Where did you get the headlight trim rings? They look "unique". The only source I know for them is after market and then you have them painted and installed. Is that what you did? I really like the look.
Those wheels look really nice.
You can get Strosek headlight covers from Fred Opert racing. You still need to have them painted. Install is easy on the 3.4ls, harder on the 3.6ls.

Rob, what is exactly involved in the install. I'm sure that I was told that the install was not easy and would appreciate any info.

BTW Nice wheels Sloth, just spotted them on funcars.
You're supposed to remove the headlights and then glue them on with a glue they provide. I cheated installing mine. I had them all ready to go before I took delivery and was very impatient about getting them on. I never took off my lights. I just glued them on with the glue they supplied. I put a bead around the outside and around each hole allowing some room for expansion and held them in place with my hands for awhile; once it hardens it's not going anywhere. I have headlight washers too. I thought that I'd have to take them off and do it right at some point, but 18 months and 9k miles later they're still on and looking good. I've had her up over 140 mph several times too. I had a few air pockets initially, but the covers have since seated quite well. Be very careful with the glue it's black and strong, just like my coffee. I'm not sure if I recommend doing this, it's just how I did it. With the 02/Turbo headlights I've heard that getting the headlight washers apart can be a bit difficult.

They were painted and installed by the bodyshop that did my aerokit. They seem to be pretty permanent with all the glue they used. It is something different and provides a unique look, an almost retro appearance when viewed from the front.

Nice wheels... are they heavier than the ones you had on before... if so... is it a significant difference?

From my research the Kinesis wheels should weigh in at 20.5lbs front and 22lbs rear. My stock hollow spoke Technology wheels (7.5" & 10" width) weigh 19.95lbs front and 23.35lbs rear. I attribute the higher weight up front to the additional 1/2" in width. I wanted to be sure that the wheels I purchased were at least as light as the stock wheels.

Nice wheels sloth!.
Have you think about the spacers?. Would be a good end look complement.

I am not really a big fan of spacers, so I had really not considered it. Perhaps I could have changed the offset when I ordered them. I was concerned about contact due to the increased tire/wheel widths and the ROW suspension, probably not a necessary concern, but I did not want to mess with it.
Thanks all for the compliments!
