Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I'm having the RoW M030 suspension installed on my '00 C4 coupe w/ S-03 225/40 on 8x18 front, 285/30 on 10x18 rear. It's my daily driver and I'll be using it for autocross and some DEs. Any suggestions for suspension settings?

POST 2Original post

If I were you, and I'm not, I would have it setup to RoW Sport specs. That way you can avoid excessive wear on the tires from too much negative camber and have a good daily driver. Unless you are tracking the car a lot I don't see the need for an aggressive alignment, IMHO

POST 3Original post

I agree with DJ 996, I wouldn't mess with it, there is no need IMHO unless you are very experienced and knowledgeable on 996 RoW M030 suspension settings for the track and be willing to shorten even more the life of your tires. This is also what my mechanic at Porsche recommended me when I asked him the same question can you make it even faster now? ;-)

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks Doug, Carlos. I'm taking a two day Evolution autocross school soon. I asked only because a PCA instructor warned of possible front tire damage due to the stock 996's understeer. He didn't know I was installing the RoW 030 and from what you and others have written that suspension removes a lot of the understeer.
