Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I've had my C2 for around a month now and 3rd/4th are still a bit stiff/sticky until the engine has warmed up. My dealer told me to wait until around 1,000 miles before I went to see them - I'm at around 900 miles now and things still haven't improved much. Anyone else had this, and if so how long before the change became really slick/smooth ? I've read about this problem on early Ferrari's, but not on Porsches.

POST 2Original post

hey greg, dont you think that's quite a large avatar u got there?! \\W// ---> Guys, that's my sign for Waz, like Superman 'S' kind of thing.. get used to it!

POST 3Original post

Greg, Don't over-exert anything in your car before you warm the engine, oils, gears, etc.. up.. This is, as I learn from the listers, one of the main problems to blow your engine to Kripton land. Sticky gear is normal, even in my C2 with 70,000km in the tropics of Nigeria here.. So dont worry and get used to it.. once it warms up, the gear just know how to read your palm, and your dreams come true for a fact! Well said! \\W// 996 C2 99

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Sorry about the avatar Waz, I'll get round to reducing it shortly - didn't realise it was soooooooooo big - good pic though I thought !
