Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

During my 30k service I was told that there was some transmission seepage. I was also told that it is nothing to worry about as it is a common occrance. Since that service I have put another 6K on the car and am thinking I should bring it back in before the warranty lapses. It's a '99 c2 cab with 36K. Any advice would be appreciated.

POST 2Original post

rear engine main seal. change it before your clutch gets affected, make sure it's the new seal type. welcome to the club. waz

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Unbelievable!! They replaced the engine once already. I'm taking it in this week and having them look at it again. I don't need the engine destroyed after the warranty is up.

POST 4Original post

it's the seal, let them check the seal.. the crank seal that is from the transmission side. it always fails.. are you tough on ur pcar? waz

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Nope. I don't get to drive it much...5 miles each way to work--or live if you consider the time I spend here. Stop and go traffic, but no high or low rmp's or speed. Maybe just bad luck.
