Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Just spoke with TPC about the 996 superchager. March '03 availability. Approximately $13000 installed. 450 hp.

POST 3Original post

K aboom....? Can the N/A 996 engine be trusted with 450 HP? Cheers, Ken

Some would probably say that it is an untested design (the NA engine), but others (myself included) would say that the engine does not have the same overhead as past engine designs.

POST 6Original post

Don, do you mind sharing who else is working up a supercharger kit for the 996? Do they have anything in the works for the 986S? TPC seems to have a fair amount of background re the use of blowers on the P-car motors. Just curious.

POST 7Original post

I can't share it because if I did I'd have to jump off the roof! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="wink.gif" />
