Just turned a few miles from home completing a 2300 mile road trip of Eastern Canada, no issues, ran great and checked the oil this morning not needing even a drop!

I use factory filters, factory recommended oil, every 5000 miles as noted above and the car is a '99 with original IMS!

100000 mile mark!! Just turned a few miles from home completing a 2300 mile road trip of Eastern Canada, no issues, ran great and checked the oil this morning not needing even a drop! For those that know this part of Canada, the route was: Montreal Quebec to Metis sur Mer in Gaspe, then Caraquet New Brunswick to Cavendish PEI, then Lunenburg Nova Scotia, Moncton and Fredericton New Brunswick, then La Malbaie Quebec and finally home after 10 days. Lots of beautiful places to visit, great food and enjoyed the car (and comments from people along the way on "that little blue sports car" ). Don't be afraid to take your cars out on the twisties!! Hi Pete, Sounds like an awesome trip!! Whatever you are doing to maintain your car is working!! What year is your car? What oil do you use? How frequently do you change it? IMS original? New owner here - soaking up knowledge. Thanks, Ray

FYI, you are supposed to hit each milestone at the corresponding speed. 100k miles- 100MPH, 150K miles- 150MPH. I was able to do that in my Acura until 150K miles. Air resistance and 260HP became enemies after that
