Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

When I bought a set to replace my twists, I had more luck searching under "factory lightweight" to differentiate them and found several sets advertised as such.

Guess I'm just a *****, but this thread suggests that OP wants to buy a "set" of 2002 996s.

Suggestion
I don't think I've ever seen a set on a 993 or 928.
These are separate views of the same evidence. Frequency alone does not establish a fix, and these counts must not be added together.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Are you talking about the 18" five spoke wheels which were optional on the 2002 - 2004 996 Carrera?
They're not normally called MY02's. I think that's where the confusion comes in...unless you're not looking for wheels...in which case I'm confused as well.
Huh. If we're talking about the wheels, the people that actually have an '02 or newer 996 call them the factory lightweights or the 40thAE wheels without the special finish. I don't think I've ever seen a set on a 993 or 928. Interesting.

Wow, I sure didn't mean to cause so much confusion. Yes, indeedy, I'm looking for a set of 18" 996 wheels, 8's for the front, 10's for the rear, a simple 5-spoke design. I think they were standard from 2002 on--hence MY02?--including the polished wheels on the 40th Anniversary cars. I obviously thought MY02 was recognized nomenclature, and often see them on RL, pelican and ebay with that term. rpm's S2 link to Wheel Enhacement does show the wheel for which I am searching.
I never had this much trouble looking for Fuchs.
Gotcha. They were optional as were the turbo twists in '02. When I bought a set to replace my twists, I had more luck searching under "factory lightweight" to differentiate them and found several sets advertised as such. Good luck with your search and be aware that apparently they were an option on Boxsters as well but narrower.
Those are my favorite wheels for the 996 unfortunately they wont work on mine which sux! Anyway, I have seen them for sale for a decent price from some of the salvage dealers. Got to admit, I thought he was looking for model year 2002 996's.
That would be because Fuch is the name of a wheel manufacturer which is well known for making wheels for Porsches.
How much luck do you think I would have finding a set of Fuchs on the early s registry if I started a thread called

?
Not trying to beat you up or anything but good communication usually doesn't involve solving riddles.
Good luck finding a set of liteweights. They really do look great on a 993.
