Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Yup I have e seen it, few little nicks and scratches, sounds very nice, I've heard a few, no test drive yet, clutch and bearings done by PO before him, i would be the third owner.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
27 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

this is an 02 c2 i am doing a ppi on tomorrow, im not thinking this front end is stock.
advice please?
Also has red calipers, painted by the previous owner, i would imagine.
Will introduce myself once i get a car
Thanks
Is a turbo/4S bumper cover. looks like the turbo splitter also. Not stock on a C2 but a Porsche part some use as an upgrade. Possible the previous owner needed to replace the original. Id ask why...
It always amazes me how people will take the ****tiest pictures of their car possible for a sale ad. Now is not the time to get artsy fartsy with the angles, just take a damn picture of the whole car!
i find it best to buy from an auto enthusiast.
if prior owner doesn't know what's going on and can't explain the history and significant changes, either it's a really good deal (ie. you're buying a RUF and he doesn't know it), or you may want to discount it to cover any skeletons in the closet(that he may be aware of).
PL
well see how the ppi goes, maybe good reason to get him down on price.
a buddy once told me he only buys from people that say very little in the add because it means they dont know how to sell, maybe the same goes for pictures

hes asking 25 , Im in Vancouver BC Canada, prices are a little more here compared to parts of the US.
80,000 miles
25 is a bit high. Not 8k high though.
Find out what things may be needed from ppi, use 22ish as the staring piint, and try and knock it down with ppi items.
Looks nice though.
Also is that 141k miles or kms? Assuming kms.
If you like the car and it passes the PPI and has a paper trail regarding repairs and service go for it. It's too easy to respond to an asking price based on little or no info IMHO.GL
ya we figure, the girlfriend and i) we will start at 20 or 22 depending how the ppi goes, or walk away.
we also pay 12% sales tax when we buy a used vehicle her in BC Canada, so try and say we got it for 10 save 1400 there.
yes 114 is Kilometers
these cars are selling for more up, people asking 25 and more for 99's with high milage
I'm not sure how values are near you or if you want to travel for a car. But you should be able to pick up a car with about half that mileage for the same price.
the market is weird for sure. its definitely up over last year...which makes sense since the economy is doing quite well compared to last year and two years ago...but up enough to account for such an increase over last year? hmmm.
the few 996.2's for sale in van, at the dealers, are asking some pretty big dollars. seems they dont mind having them on the lot for a long time with those prices! in the mid to high 30's. ive almost considered unloading mine given what the prices are but mines all sorted now and is a true pleasure to drive (going on a road trip to Osoyoos tomorrow....4 hours of twisties!!!)
not a lot of private sellers here now.
well live and learn
looking at 2001 with 99kilos or 60miles on Friday, sellers says 3.6 liter engine in add, i questioned him on this, he had no clue, did any of the 01 have 3.6litre?
thanks
check this out for sale add, sellers trying to tell me both pics are of the same interior, just different lighting ???

lol.
it is interesting too that each picture is taken in a very different location. i dunno about everyone else, but when im taking pictures of something for sale i do it all at once in the same spot. sure its ok to have one or two different, but they are all different.
one thing that i have seen on cl is that someone will post a pic or two of a nice car, you give them a shout, they reply back that they dont have it but can get you one for a low low price.
