Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

9 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

Generation: 20261027T005001Z · outcome-qualification-6. Deterministic extraction; no AI model inference. How we use sources

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Found an '00 C4 cab near me, with 34k & a clean carfax. Full warranty til Aug '08. I wasn't really looking for a C4, but... They're asking $44.9k obo. BlueBook says that's in the right ballpark, but I'm not sure I agree. What do you guys (gals??) think? thanks. tom

POST 2Original post

Tom, If this is a dealership I'd offer them $42,500 out the door.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I knew I forgot to mention something! Private seller. tom

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Damn good question! I'll email & ask.

POST 6Original post

Since the warranty doesn't expire until 8/08, it can't be a Porsche CPO since Porsche only provides a max of 2 years / 100 K miles. So if you bought a CPO car today, the warranty would expire 6/08.

POST 7Original post

As long as a PPI checks out ok, I'd put the value at $42k. This assumes it has almost new tires, brakes, etc and the 30k service has been completed.

POST 8Original post

Yeah, I realized that after posting. I didn't think it would be long before someone pointed that out.

POST 9 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Seller says it is "API 0 deduct bumper to bumper" warranty. Anyone familiar with API?
