This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

24 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Got some new wheels last week from a buddy that took them off his '02. Man what a difference. Here is the before: http://www.flickr.com/photos/jdherre/9159316177/http://www.flickr.com/photos/jdherre/9159316177/ by http://www.flickr.com/people/jdherre/, on Flickr and here is after: http://www.flickr.com/photos/jdherre/9161536958/http://www.flickr.com/photos/jdherre/9161536958/ by http://www.flickr.com/people/jdherre/, on Flickr I can't believe that some one in the life of this car decided that 17 inch Boxster wheels were the way to go. It shipped with the optional 18 inch twists according to the COA. Jason

POST 2Original post

I agree. I love those wheels but they dont have the correct rears for mine.

POST 4Original post

The wheels look good I especially like the color of your car. I saw one when I was shopping for mine, but when I went to see if in person, I found out it had a salvage title . I would love to have bought it, but difficult to resell

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks guys. KK - narrow body for the win! My particular car is a two owner that the first owner sold to his brother because he was moving to New Zealand. Then the second owner sold to me because he was running out of space in his garage. He is my boss' boss so I got a smoking deal. When I got the car I was kinda so-so on the color. I actually wanted to re-spray or plastidip. but it is growing on me. Passersby, who's opinions are always appreciated, are 50/50 on it. They either love it or hate it. I for one am starting to love it! J

POST 7Original post

Same wheels here. Had mine trued & powder coated when I got the car in '08. Seriously the easiest wheel to clean ever made, that actually looks good.

POST 9Original post

They go great with green and I love the window sticker

POST 10Original post

Wheels look good and FWIW, I love that color!

POST 14Original post

Very nice wheels, thats what I did to mine last year and I love it.

POST 16Original post

Awesome wheels, I have the same on my 911 and they look great!

POST 17Original post

Love the wheels. I have the same ones on mine and was delighted to find the right car with the wheels I wanted. Great color - I love the green!

POST 18Original post

I like your new wheels, but I cast my vote for the original ones.

POST 19Original post

Love the color, I've looked for one at times... As for the wheels, they're made by BBS and I've read they're supposed to be the lightest 18" wheels Porsche's shipped on a road car, so there!

POST 21Original post

What were the offsets of the rear of these and what tyres are you using? are they 997 type? cheers, will

POST 23Original post

looks great ! turbo twists are very common, and its always nice to have a set of something else to change up the look

POST 24 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks for all the support guys. Will - they are optional 18" wheels from a 2002 996 so I'm not 100% sure on the offsets and such. but they fit awesome. I went with Dunlop Dizera D100 tires. They are cheap and I expect them to last for at least a year. Jason
