Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I'm going to have the car on the track in late July in St. Louis--lots of heat and humidity. What can I do to protect the leather seats from body sweat?

POST 2Original post

Don't worry about it. You can wipe them down at the end of every run, if you want. Just treat them to a good cleaning and conditioning after the event and they will be fine. I do 40 track days a year in mine and they still look great. Karl

POST 3Original post

How did you mount the submarine belt to the GT3 seats or chassis?

POST 4Original post

The GT3 seats have a bar across the seat rails for mounting the sub belt. When I was running with the stock seats, I used a two ended sub belt with D rings on each end. I placed the D rings between the seat rails and the floor used the seat rail bolts to tighten everything down. Karl
