Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Discussions that report identifying a cause
1

0 original-poster resolution reports. Counts can overlap; they are not unique people or a success rate.

0 discussions have direct query context; 0 report a fix in that context. Other evidence may inherit the discussion’s subject.

Reported cause

This is due to the fact that the Turbo is heavier and its suspension is calibrated to compensate for that.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Can the stock suspension from a 996 Turbo be fitted onto a '99/C4? If so what would be the ride height differences be? Appreciate any informed opinions. Regards Prabha

POST 2Original post

In a word No. Porsche has tuned the suspensions for all their cars and even a coupe has a different suspension that a cab. If you want lower ride height and a sport suspension the ROW M030 is considered to be the best choice (see the articles in April and May issue Porsche Panorama). The ROW M030 lowers the rear about 10mm and the front by 20mm. Board sponsor Carnewal has some of the best prices I've seen.

POST 3Original post

It can physically fit your car but the ride height will be higher than what you have now. This is due to the fact that the Turbo is heavier and its suspension is calibrated to compensate for that.
