Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Dry, and strt to polish, wash again, dry, polish, wash dry, then start with your waxing/sealand/glaze or what ever you opt for a top coat (zianos is great on black, I am using maquires on the red and like it)

Seems that most used Porsches come standard with swirl marks.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Hi Everyone,
Just bought my first porsche. It's a 1999 c2 with 69,000 miles. Its silver on black leather with 19' HRE's. Can life get any better? Great fourm by the way.
Excellent looking P-car you've got there - congrats on your purchase and welcome to Rennlist. And nice job posting pics upon entry to avoid Tim's newbie rath.
NICE
in Seattle everything is silver (grey) - we need color or we cant find out cars.....today it is 57F, raining with low clouds... I crossed the water about an hour ago and the water and they sky were touching.... bith were grey.... I just shook my head and cried.......so that is why I have a bright color car
Thanks for all the great comments, im still in shock. My neighbors keep laughing at me cause im the only one in oregon who washes there car in the rain.
learning the correct way to wash your new Porsche is as important as any other thing... take time to learn now so all that washing isnt doing more harm than good....
this should give you some reading

Congrats!
Regarding the cleaning, one bad thing with my new 911 is the dreaded swirl marks in the paint. Can I fix this myself or should I pay a professional to work those out?

when I had my front end on the black car re-sprayed the "highly recommended professionals" (who did great paint/body work) had a monkey in the detail shop that swirled my hood....
I was advised to wait 30 days and come back...
second round, the shop swirled the hood and front bumper
third rounds they swirled the "rest of the car"
son of a beeswax was (am) I p!ssed about that....
took me an entire weekend to get it back to right...
moral, do it yourself - take yur time, get a griots orbital, start with a dawn dishwashing soap wash (removes wax) rinse well... very very well. Dry, and strt to polish, wash again, dry, polish, wash dry, then start with your waxing/sealand/glaze or what ever you opt for a top coat (zianos is great on black, I am using maquires on the red and like it)
