Only other change I would make would be to get the GT2 wheels from Carnewal and the B&M short shift kit.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I want to put lowering springs on my 2002 C4S. What would you guys recomend, the units from Porsche or some after-market units? Any advice you gentlemen could provide would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
IMHO. Porsche tuned suspensions have no equal.
Springs, shocks, sway bars and all tuned for your driving style.
Your tough decision is whether to go with US M030 sport suspension or the ROW M030 sport suspension (which lowers the car 20 mm in front and 10 mm in the rear).
Check out the board sponsors for great deals. (Carnewal.com and Suncoast Porsche)
The C4S already comes with the US M030 suspension as standard. Fitting the ROW springs and shocks would bring the car to ROW C4S specs. Click Here for details.
Robb,
Been toying with the idea since I first bought the C4S. I corresponded with Gert from Carnewal about the ROW M030 for the C4S. They are reported to lower the US M030 as Viken stated. However, I've seen pictures of the ROW C4S (not PR pics, but owner pics)submitted in this forum. By appearances alone, and based on those pictures, the ROW C4S does NOT appear to be VISIBLY lower than the US C4S. Kinda disappointing, since I do believe that the nothing beats the designed-from-the-beginning allure of the OEM suspension.
Regardless, the C4S in current form exceeds my talent for driving. So, I've decided to wait until I either get to be a better driver, or the springs need to be replaced. For looks alone, since I don't know what effect it will have on performance, H&R springs will visibly lower the car.
Rodney:
Your car looks great! How much does your setup lower the car? Also, is the setup applicable to the C4S?
BWT 20mm front and 10mm rear would probably be enough for me with the Porsche springs and shocks on the Carnewal site. Ground clearance of the chin spoiler is low on the stock C4S, for me anyway. My concern about non-Porsche suspension bits is that they may not be engineered for the C4S yet.
Only other change I would make would be to get the GT2 wheels from Carnewal and the B&M short shift kit.
The car is about 2 inches lower. Keep in mind I have 19 inche wheels so visually is looks low. I have about 6 inches clearance at the lowest point in front to give you a point of reference. This is with the RUF RGT kit.
