Read evidence and context
Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

0 original-poster resolution reports. Counts can overlap; they are not unique people or a success rate.
0 discussions have direct query context; 0 report a fix in that context. Other evidence may inherit the discussion’s subject.

Bloke - as an expert who has had two coolant tanks replaced, have it checked out.
Leading evidence: 'Replace have it' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Replace have it' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.
Source reports, not a diagnosis or a success probability. Counts refer to discussions and can overlap.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I saw some coolent on the floor of the garage today. But, I might have overfilled the coolent yesterday at the gas station. Never had this problem before so I am assuming that I dont have a leak. Instead just an overflow situation. Is this normal for the car to push out extra coolent out of does it now have a leak?
Also, the leak is on the driver side around the exhaust pipe area which is the same side as the coolent cap. Finally the cap appears dry so does the car just push out the extra coolent?
Ok now got to wait till the car cools down so I can remove the extra coolent.
Bloke - as an expert who has had two coolant tanks replaced, have it checked out. Porsche can't seem to build a seamless tank that holds, or I've had two lemons.
Do you have any dried coolant on the spill ring on top of the tank? Very well could be that you just spilled some.
Did the puddle appear after alot of intown driving where engine temp is likely to get hotter? Could be then that you have a small leak. If under warranty, have it checked out is my best advice. There is still a seam on the tank that will leak if it is mfg'ed to porous. My second leak would appear only after intown driving and not freeway driving - don't know if you frequent funcarsonline and read my saga about trip to Vegas for Carrera Camp. Only leaked after intown driving and neither spirited drive to or from Vegas to SoCal.
Good luck!

Oops - forgot to add that where you describe the leak is exactly where it should be if it's the tank or an overfill. You'd have seen the overfill puddle instantly I would imagine. It's a closed pressurized system so don't think it would 'push out' extra coolant but I'm not a mechanic or a tinkerer with cars either.
