Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I'm replacing my stock 02 995 nose with a turbo nose in the near future. I wonder if it's easier to have stonegard/armourfend installer put on nose before its put on the car??? <img src="confused.gif" border="0">

POST 2Original post

Greetings Don, If your new Turbo nose is being painted, you might want to check with the Stonegard/Armourfend installer if the paint needs time to cure before they can install the film. It does make more sense to have the film installed before the nose goes on the car.

POST 4Original post

Don, where are you having your film put on?? Are you using an armourfend dealer? I had Armourfend put on my M5 and will do it to the C2 as soon as it has it's curing time complete. Saves tons of stone damage. Armourfend has a guy in Providence, but I had driven to the home office and had their trainng guy template the car(they had never seen the E39 M5 yet (Nov 99). Still worth the drive. You may also want to consider a piece for just above the wind screen. I will.

POST 5Original post

OOPS... Saw you have a Cab, so forget the windshield piece.

POST 6Original post

Inskip in Warwick RI has Armour Fend onsite at their facility Tuesdays and Thursdays every week. Their number is [phone removed]. T2
