Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

12 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

Generation: 20261026T135432Z · outcome-qualification-6. Deterministic extraction; no AI model inference. How we use sources

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Anyone know which companies make classy rear spoilers? Not interested int the big rounded ones you always see on the backs of the Civics or Eclipses. Also, are they just bolt on or does it involve drilling into the car? How hard is it to disable the factory spoiler from coming up?

POST 2Original post

There are several manufacturers and many styles. Best to check ads in Excellence, Panorama, etc. RUF and TechArt come to mind immediately, but I'm sure there are others. Pic is a factory rear spoiler for MY 2002 996. POST 11Original post

I assume you disabled the factory up-down wing? Was it difficult?

POST 12Original post

Hi Pig4Bill: The RUF RGT wing comes with its own rear decklid, the original decklid was totally removed and the microswitch was disengaged. The RUG RGT wing is a fixed wing. The auto body shop said the removal and replacement procedure was easy, but RUF RGT wing preparation was slightly difficult because the alignment holes and screws did not match up and had to be redrilled.
