Lastly, you can adjust the coilovers to be a mere 10 mm lower than the ROW 030 front and rear.

The GT3 swaybars have drop links that you can adjust the roll stiffness.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Hi there and good day!! I know that this has been mentioned before but I like to ask one more time. Would it be any problems just installing just these GT3 swaybars and keeping suspension stock? I know best set up is either ROW M030 plus GT3 stablizers or going for fully adjustable coil overs but it would be a problem more for my wife and daughter who already says my car is a bit stiff but who knows maybe I'll gravitate towards the ROW set up in the near future. Another thing is if after install of the anti-sway bars does it need any alignment or not. It(carnewal) also mentioned that it's adjustable so what does it adjust for(degree of roll?) and what should be the norm of adjustment to with stock supension as well as with ROW suspension? Thanks and take care. Mike
Mike,
These adjustable bars cannot install with the stock suspension. At least, the rear won't.
The adjustments affect the stiffness of the bars which in turn would affect the degree of roll.
The GT3 swaybars have drop links that you can adjust the roll stiffness. You do this by moving the link location to 1 of the 5 holes (make sure it's the same on each side). This allows you to "dial-in" your roll stiffness. The ride height for US Standard and Sport is the same (US bumper laws). The ROW drops the car 20mm in front and 10mm in the rear (approx.). A GT3 comes standard with coilovers and is usually over 1.5 inches lower (altough you can adjust this to some degree). I don't know that the GT3 bars will attach to a stock suspension... different mounting points?
Here are the specs Std vs. Sport vs. GT3:
Standard - 23.1mm Front and 18.5mm Rear
Sport (same for ROW and US) - 23.6mm Front and 19.6mm Rear
GT3 - 26.7mm Front and 20.8mm Rear
You can see that there is quite a difference probably greater than 30% over stock. ROW030 is not so stiff when you compare it to the GT3 settings.
My personal choice (unless I was planning the car for track only) would be ROW030. The GT3 stuff is just to low and too stiff for the street.

My personal choice for a car that's only seen the track once is the coilovers with the GT3 sways. Contrary to Loren's experience, most who have ridden in my car (including my wife) don't find the car any stiffer than a stock turbo. The handling is night and day. Lastly, you can adjust the coilovers to be a mere 10 mm lower than the ROW 030 front and rear. That's not "too low" IMO, and won't be any stiffer (if not even a little less so) than the ROW 030. The GT3 sways though is how understeer tendancy disappears - not the suspension.
PS. All my stuff came from [email removed] as well
There is a great article in last month's Porsche Panorama magazine that explains all of this. I too wanted just a stiffer ride because I can't even dream of lowering my car in NY. I wanted to go with the GT-3 swaybars only, but was informed that it may be dangerous for street driving. Has anybody thought of just installing the ROW swaybars if that is an option?
My boxtser is lowered with H&R springs and sits 40mm lower than the US 030 and I have no problems driving it in NY. The only challenge is the car wash, which is a bad habit anyway.

I plan on doing H&R coil overs in my 996
