Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Like it says I am looking for a race car project the uglier the better miles do not matter.. I am just looking for cheap!!!!
has to be a coupe and 2 wheel drive. Prefer 3.4, but would consider 3.6
This one may be too ugly. Its in the PCA Maverick region classifieds if you are interested.
1999 911 (996)
59,xxx miles. Absolutely hammered flat beyond belief in hail storm. Mechanicals, wheels, tires good, might need the “jaws of life” to see the interior. Color moot because front and rear glass gone, most body panels are done, some assorted exterior pieces might be salvaged. Photos available via email. Suitable for some sort of conversion to club racer or demo derby vehicle. Asking $10,500 but willing to negotiate but… no poultry
www.copart.com
is a good salvage auction site.
They have a fair amount of 996s on there - seemingly nice GT2 Sandy flood victim right now.

found one 8 months ago for 5k, 160k miles, ugly paint but ran good.. He sold to a friend of his, so I lost out.. sort of what I am looking for, sub 10k
I didn't think a comment was needed, I would of thought there would be several rough sub 10k cars out there when I see descent sub 15k cars...
Just looking for one that runs good but has torn seats, bad paint and bad title OK
Seriously, the front end(body shell) and other misc. doors and pieces off of this car ARE still available. Engine/trans/rear clip are all gone.
The plus side of this is that it was a C4 coupe so the fuel area/trunk compartment is the same as a Cup car to fit the larger fuel tank for someone looking to do that.
I would be willing to work an awesome deal on it if someone is interested in it.
PM or email me.
I do also have other misc seats and interior parts from other 996's and 986's that we have turned into race cars over the years.
Thanks,
