Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Well I finished my B&M ssk install and decided my rear center console really needed some refreshing. Ideally I would like to recover in leather with a french seam to match the rest of my Savanna Beige full leather interior. Really suprised that it didn't come from the factory that way. I went to a local ulpostery shop and he had concerns about tolerances where the plastic pieces snap to the console being to tight. Any one have experience with the Classic 9 Leather Shop rear center console? Looks like they have an option where you can order an overlay for the console for $320 that you can mount yourself or $550 and they install it. You can't enlarge the photo on their website so it is a bit hard to make out what it looks like in detail. Here is a link. You will need to scroll down the page a bit for the 996 console option. http://www.classic9leathershop.com/D...el_Covers.html I have installed the arm rest cover from them and it was very nice piece. Any other options for a leather rear console? Thanks.

POST 2Original post

Mine needs to be recovered as well so I looked on ebay. They seemed reasonable but all of them were black with different colored stiching. I took it apart the other day and it looks like thin leather (glove?) glued over the form. I wonder if there is any way to order the matching leather and just recover it?

POST 3Original post

Think I may have misunderstood your post but appreciate the link you attached because I just ordered a cover for my console. So thanks!
