Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

11 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

My '99 C2 coupe toggled over 100k today. Except for the engine failure (intermix) about 40k ago, this has been a very dependable and trouble-free vehicle, with only the usual consumables needing replacement.

POST 2Original post

Congratulations Doug. Glad to hear that the fix on the engine worked. I am about to turn 70,000 on my car which is about 20,000 sine my intermix fix and it is running strong. So much for those who told us the engines could to be fixed.

POST 7Original post

Congrats - but isn't it kind of funny to say "except for the engine failure"? LOL - I have a Tahoe and and Infiniti M45 with way over 100k miles and zero problems for either one - minor or major. I know - they aren't anywhere near as fun to drive, but still.....

POST 8Original post

Congrats! I wouldn't call it a catastrophic failure if you were able to re-weld the head and do Doug's fix... I may be faced with the same fix at some point soon.

POST 9Original post

I used to like the old days when cars that went over 100k turned back to zero.
