Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I can't test the theory because the car is parked for the season - so I removed the bulb just in case.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

9 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I finally hooked up my battery maintainer for the winter. I noticed that my frunk light stayed on when I closed the lid so I took a video from inside the frunk. Sure enough, the light stayed on, even after I locked and armed the car. Any thoughts? would it turn off once the engine is running? I can't test the theory because the car is parked for the season - so I removed the bulb just in case.

POST 3Original post

good quick remedy rmoving the bulb but is there a micro switch in the frunk latch which needs replacing?

You just reminded me that I forgot to leave my frunk open... Will do it this weekend just in case the tender craps out some how.

POST 7Original post

i sprayed the microswitch w/ electrical contact cleaner and then let that dry and then sprayed it with WD40 to keep everything working smoothly. Seems to be as good as new........
