Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

While they're out, (assuming you have litronics) replace the high beam bulbs (H11) with H9 bright whites.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

[/IMG]I have finally joined the 996 ranks after a decade of 944 fun. Actually I've had the 996 for a couple of months but finally have some photos to share. I really didn't know much about 911's until I came across a local dealer that just received a '03 with 63K miles and tiptronic in blk/blk. I started to do some research (RMS, IMS, etc.) and looked under the rear of the car. Not even a hint of oil anywhere. The engine looked immaculate without having been powerwashed...just clean. I had a PPI done. It showed that the 60K service had not been done. I tested the car throughly, everything seemed right. I made the decision to move forward and promptly took it to the local Porsche dealer for the 60K. I was expecting a list of needs and notes but they didn't come to me with even one. The rev report showed it hit low redline only once. So I am thrilled to finally join the club and look forward forum!

Glueckwunsch! I have the same car (including the tip) in an '04 and absolutely love it. Some lightweight things you might enjoy doing: Put a good quality film on the headlights. While they're out, (assuming you have litronics) replace the high beam bulbs (H11) with H9 bright whites. Put in chrome amber front signal bulbs. Ditch the pumpkins and put in a set of clear (smoked) side makers; those also look nice with the silver/amber bulbs. Go over the interior with 303 protectant. Enjoy your new car!
Great looking car. I used to live just down from Waverly Place in Thornwood. Do go and meet up with your fellow PCAR enthusiasts, and welcome to the club.
