If you're sick of cleaning rims and want the most bang for the buck, buy the gallon of concentrated Wheel brightener as it dllutes to 4:1 ratio and lasts awhile.

sport C II's are nice and yes they suck to clean but there are tricks...a long bristled soft brush and very frequent cleaning with basic cleaner (nothing special) are your friend
These are separate views of the same evidence. Frequency alone does not establish a fix, and these counts must not be added together.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Those are both excellent wheels. I really like the design of both. Personally, I'd choose the Sport Classic II. I think they would look great on your car.
I have the classic 2 which I think look really sharp but they are a swine to clean. So I would choose the wider spoked ones in the last photo if I had the choice. .
We had a little snow in Spring the other night - not! Very observant. I was looking for a photo to compare the two wheels and found one taken in the Denver area last year. Doubt that I'll see much snow for a while.

I didnt vote - both look good
+996, however if you want to remain "period" correct and have mk1 with aero, then Sport Designs, otherwise if stock car without aero then Sport Classic 2's.
My $.02
Regardless as with any busy spoke design and stock Textar pads, you will have a hell of a time cleaning them. However I recently tried out Meguire's Wheel Brightener and works wonders as others have said. If you're sick of cleaning rims and want the most bang for the buck, buy the gallon of concentrated Wheel brightener as it dllutes to 4:1 ratio and lasts awhile. This stuff is acid based and is usually only sold to pro detailers that know what their doing so you need to practice some common sense when using this.
If you have money to burn, Sonax is less toxic but costs more.

Thanks for the tips.
I'll have to try some of this. If it saves time and cleans better than what I've been doing, it is probably well worth it. Would be nice to buy a smaller quantity, even though price isn't bad.
