Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

8 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

1 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

Our cars (mine is a 1999 as well) are narrow body (NB) cars, meaning that body components that worked on the wide-body cars (C4, C4S, Turbo, GT2) will not work due to different component dimensions.

I am wondering if anyone knows or can help me find a wing for the back of my 1999 996 C2 coupe. I love the look of the 996 turbo wing, but I purchased one and found to my chagrin that it wont fit on my car. Does anyone know of a company that I can purchase the turbo wing for my 1999? Please help. any and all info is great. And thanks in advance for the help!

Jzzake, Our cars (mine is a 1999 as well) are narrow body (NB) cars, meaning that body components that worked on the wide-body cars (C4, C4S, Turbo, GT2) will not work due to different component dimensions. The two companies that I am familiar with that make look-alike components that work for our cars are Getty Design and MA Shaw . Be aware though that these are FRP (fiberglass) components, and may/will require some extra work to get them to OEM fittment standards. Also be aware that our cars have a wiring harness that works with the stock spoiler; the aftermarket parts may need a separate harness. - Matthew
