And BTW, I did take out the front seats and rear seat bottoms to clean underneath!

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

14 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I can't stop admiring the new ride. Clear corners were ordered before I even picked it up! Had a chance to get them on today and wash it - again

POST 2Original post

Don't wash it too much you might scrub through the clearcoat.

POST 4Original post

You missed a spot! I have had my current one 3 months now and only missed washing it one weekend and I am getting picked on by my wife and children, you are my hero!!! So, now its clean on the outside, you need to unbolt something and clean under it

POST 5Original post

It becomes an obsession at times. At least your color is easier to maintain than others. Looks very clean.

Yup, I hear ya! That doesn't go away either, I still admire the car when I park it anywhere - even after 5 years.

Where is that spot? I'll get it! Actually, the dealer left me compound in every crack, crevice and on all the black trim. It took me 3 washes to get it all out. And BTW, I did take out the front seats and rear seat bottoms to clean underneath!

It's been five years for you already?!? I remember when you sold the 944 to get your car. Seems a few of us moved in the same direction. I'm going on 3 years here in a couple of weeks with mine. And to the OP - nice car!

POST 13Original post

Quotes source post: 9430255

Yup, time flys! These cars seem like they are getting close to 944's as far as depreciation, bringing in converts. There are a bunch of 996ers with 944's in their signatures.

POST 14Original post

Not to worry, you can add the resale value of two or three 944s with a quick visit to 911 Modville. I am on my third round of mods on my 2000 in my 8th year of ownership. These cars are keepers.
