I installed OEM clear on my 997 and from experience I can tell you it's worth it to spend the extra for them.

I did the $50 eBay set a few years back on a Boxster, and they looked just okay but the quality was very substandard compared to Hella/OEM.

Most people go with OEM Hella brand. Good quality and fit.

Occasionally the metal pressure clip on the back would pop when I hit a sizable bump. I installed OEM clear on my 997 and from experience I can tell you it's worth it to spend the extra for them.

Depends. You want smoke OE? Go to the dealer. Hella seems to be in transition. The cheap ones are not the same color.
