Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Suggestion
There are definitely Porsche purists out there who freak out if you change anything on your car, but they are few and far between.
Leading evidence: 'Replace anything' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Replace anything' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.
Source reports, not a diagnosis or a success probability. Counts refer to discussions and can overlap.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Ive had the car for a week, and some guy at a gas station told me that my Porsche violates some kind of tradition. So now Im curious... Is it true that putting non-OEM wheels on a Porsche is something Porsche owners frown upon? Mine was upgraded to 19s by the original owner, and I really like the way it looks, but am I gonna forever hear about this from other Porsche owners?
Are you sure he was talking about wheels? My guess is that the "tradition" he was referring to was the 996, as the first water-cooled 911, breaking the long tradition of air-cooled 911's.
I don't think there is any tradition related to OEM wheels with Porsches. In fact, I see so many different styles of wheels on Porsches that I pay a lot less attention to non-OEM wheels on Porsches than I do with pretty much any other brand of car.
Beautiful car by the way. Don't worry about what guys at the gas station think.
Some guy at the gas station told me that I ruined all Porsche tradition because I have a magnetic drain plug and spin-on oil filter adapter. C'mon...embrace your car....Love your car....mod to your hearts content. Your wheels look great, now go for a drive and enjoy!
Love your replies! Yes, the guy at the gas station was a tool, and I just stared at him until he awkwardly looked away. Im not the kind of guy to be messed with, but Im also not a guy who takes other peoples insecurities or ego driven crap personally.
I love how my car looks, I have never owned a Porsche before, and Im just getting familiar with all aspects of ownership, the culture (if you will), etc.
I used to have a Corvette as my weekend car. There were things about Corvette owners that I liked, and others I had no use for. Im guessing it will be similar here, and it really doesnt matter in the end, anyway.
I am a newer owner myself and I am also getting used to the reactions, comments, and culture of ownership. Its completely different than any other car I've had before, Corvette's Mustangs, Chevelle's, Firebirds Etc this is a class all of its own, and Im loving it. People just admire this car like I have never seen before, its comical.
Your car looks great. Who cares what the gas station guy thinks? Who cares what anyone else thinks, for that matter? It’s your car. All that matters is what you think. Enjoy your Porsche and don’t worry about it.
Ha, talk about gas station guys.... On my first gas fillup after buying my car and driving it back, a guy at the gas station offered me a job, because "I looked like a smart guy"
if that were true, all these owners would have gotten it terribly wrong

There are definitely Porsche purists out there who freak out if you change anything on your car, but they are few and far between. The 996 owner group tends to fall somewhere between the air-cooled classic owners and the owners who car more about their image than their car. As a result, theyre pretty laid back.
