Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Im doing a minor engine top end refresh and have the engine out of the car. Im looking to replace the cam chain rails and on bank 2 ( cylinders 4-6), you need to remove the oil pump and housing to get to the chain rail bolt. Anything to know when removing this?, it looks from what I have searched to be simple, nothing noted in the Bentley manual. Looks like I just remove the pump cover and gears, then the housing. Replace the gasket and pump cover seal. Any advice is appreciated

POST 2Original post

All I can remember is to mark the gears as to which one goes where, and which side faces which way. Once out it can get very confusing.
