It would run fine but once the engine got warm it would run like crap and throw the codes.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

1 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi, While replacing my water pump I accidentally swapped the pre and post cat O2 sensors. The car would throw codes for Misfire on cylinders 4,5,6 (P0306, P0304, P0305). Putting them back on the correct location again and no codes. There is connectors to the O2 sensors in the engine bay: - Black connector is Pre-cat - Gray connector is post cat See this for details http://911car.blogspot.com/2010/06/p...2-sensors.html The codes would appear once the engine got warm. It would run fine but once the engine got warm it would run like crap and throw the codes. I think the ECU ignores the O2 sensors when the engine is cold. The lambda values from Durametric would also be very strange, when everything is working the O2 sensor values should be around 1 and the pre/post cat voltage should "oscillate" between 0.1 and 0.9v. It should look something like this: Thank you for your help.
