Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

13 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I went to Summit Point last weekend for the NASA Spring Rumble HPDE Event and had my first dyno test done on the track car. This is a 2000 Porsche 996 C2 dedicated track car with 114,000 miles. The only engine mods are TuneRS Motorsport Underdrive Pulley, GT3 Throttle Body, IDP Competition Plenum, and open exhaust with a Underpressure Racing X-pipe. No flash. That is it for the engine. Make sure you turn your volume to MAX for full effect! You Tube

POST 3Original post

Absolutely amazing after 18 years and 114K miles it still cranks out 265 horsepower! Thanks for sharing.

POST 6Original post

Look like some healthy numbers. Was there something done after the first pull to change the TQ curve so much? Or am I missing something? the graph is almost indicative of software/hardware change.

POST 7Original post

Sounds glorious. I only wish HP didnt fall off so quickly between 7,000 and 7,300 for these cars. It just does feel great when that happens.

The dyno operator was operating the car. I think he wanted to be cautious to make sure the car was stable/secured on their mobile platform.

POST 9 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Right. This shows that your shift point should proably be at 7K.

POST 10Original post

Torque should equal HP at 5252 rpm. Something seems off.

POST 11Original post

Quotes source post: 14969955

the scaling from hp to tq is different (they each have their own values on the y axis). They are actually equal at 5250

POST 13Original post

Well, HP is still higher at 7300 than it is after the shift, so maximum accetlation still would be achieved if shifted at redline. I just dont like the feel of the drop off at redline.
