I have a set on my car. Sometimes they are called 996.1 GT3 wheels. From what I have seen, they come in two or three sizes. The rears are typically 18x10, but they also came in 18x9 or 18x9.5 (I have seen both 9 inch sizes advertised, but one may be a typo). The fronts come in 18x8 (like mine - the GT3 wheels), but they also come in 18x7.5 for the boxster.

They are Sport Design wheels. They were used on early Euro GT3 cars. IMO, calling them GT3 wheels is a bit misleading.

They were used on the 996.1 GT3 in Europe. The "GT3" wheels we commonly refer to are the 996.2 wheels that came on the US version of the GT3 which was released later. I noted they are sometimes refered to as GT3 wheels because you will see them sometimes referenced that way when surfing the internet. I also have a set of the 996.2 GT3 wheels. The important point is that you need to be aware of the wheel size when you buy them. The sport designs came on the Boxster, and apparently the Cayman, and they are narrower. I have seen them advertised where the size was not stated.
