Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Suggestion
If it's the former, it sounds like some slack in the window regulator (will need to repair or replace the window regulator).

Did you mean once you pull the handle, you can hear the window motor running but it takes a small delay before the window will physically drop?
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Since getting my car back after the door was replaced, I have a slight issue with the window drop. I used to just grab the handle and go, but now I have to pause for a second before opening the door or the glass will hit the molding. Is there an adjustment that will fix this? The window works fine otherwise. The car is training me to wait, so it's not something I can't live with.
It should drop immediately and no wait is needed. Did you mean once you pull the handle, you can hear the window motor running but it takes a small delay before the window will physically drop? Or you meant once you pull the handle, no sound is heard until a second later?
The passenger side is fine. The driver's door was replaced after an accident. Is there an adjustment for the amount of drop? I'm wondering if it will move faster if it drops a little more.
If it's the former, it sounds like some slack in the window regulator (will need to repair or replace the window regulator). In any case, have you tried resetting the window by lowering it all the way and hold the button for a few seconds then do the same raising it up all the way? Not sure if it will help but it won't hurt to try.
I have tried the reset procedure a few times. I guess the next step is to pull off the door card to see what's going on. I was hoping there was an adjustment of some kind.
Edit. I don't think there is a delay, I think maybe the window is raised too high, if that's possible. Seems like there might be resistance from the rubber gasket initially.
