Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Not a big deal, but OE-style exhausts can be easily changed without removing the bumper.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Anyone have any experience with Kline Exhaust? https://www.kline-innovation.com/exh...xhaust-system/ I did a quick search on Rennlist and it seems to be mostly 997/991 normally aspirated and turbo people chiming in. The exhaust packages headers, cats, mufflers seem really well made, and offer a weight savings. There aren't any dyno charts but they say that there is a moderate power increase which may correlate with similar results to popular Fabspeed etc numbers. Just curious if any 996 owners have tried these and results?

POST 2Original post

My rule of thumb is that whatever an aftermarket manufacturer or vendor claims, divide it by half and then hope it meets that. There needs to be independent tests that show the difference before I believe anything that the aftermarket claims. Also, just because it looks well make doesn't mean it performs well. Don't let the look fool you.

POST 3Original post

For what it's worth, since the pipes sleeve into one another instead of butting up against each other and having a separate sleeve clamp that bridges the gap, it looks like that would be virtually impossible to install without taking the bumper off. Not a big deal, but OE-style exhausts can be easily changed without removing the bumper.

POST 4Original post

I run Kline on my 997 and for the price the quality is very good. Zero issues on two different systems. But like mentioned install might be a little more difficult but the bumper removal isnt bad.
