Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

15 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi I have a shifter and hand brake cover with aluminum inlay options codes X97 and X98. I decided I don't want to install them in my car and I'm wondering what they are worth, were they a rare option? Thanks

POST 2Original post

I think I paid a few hundred for the shift ****, boot, and horseshoe in decent shape. Brand new, Ive seen them listed for over a thousand. Take a look at the marketplace on this site (thought I saw one for sale) and on eBay. That should give you an idea of their value. Although they werent a rare option per se, seeing them sold individually kind of is. You shouldnt have an issue selling them as I find the shift **** to perform better than the stock one and it looks so much cooler.

You got a deal. You drive a hard bargain, but I'll allow it this one time.

POST 9Original post

Color makes a difference too. What color is it that you have?

POST 10Original post

Agreed with other comments, that combo Alu shift-**** & handbrake are a cool option on these cars, I have them in my car and love it. I did not see many of these for-sale anywhere, so you should not have any issue selling your set. Cheers,
