Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Here's a resurrected ME being pushed back out into the market by a Porsche dealer no less. Lots of shine applied to this baby. Anybody in Englewood NJ who could give it a lookover? https://www.autotrader.com/cars-for-...ckType=listing

POST 2Original post

LOL: "Never driven a Porsche 911 Carerra 4 before, don't worry - Supplemental safety bars pop out of the rear deck if sensors detect an impending rollover"

POST 3Original post

Seems cheap for a ME. I guess it has been repainted. Hard to tell on my iPhone. But Slate Grey is not the factory color, so repaint or misidentified color.

POST 5Original post

Pictures can make a ugly chick look like a model. Some models have been been seen looking ugly in photos. I think for the price it is worth looking at. Not a fan of black wheels on that color. But thats a personal thing. I would think if a Porsche Dealer is willing to put it on the lot it must be a decent car. Get a good PPI by a independant and if the colors and options are what you like, pull the trigger.

POST 6Original post

Sorry north nj is a little too far for.me to go. Maybe there is a ny peep that can go over a bridge and check ot out.

Getting a PPI before anyone I'd trust has seen the car is a moot point now - the car is off the Autotrader listing. It was a low price for an ME and especially so for a Porsche dealership. The rear bumper looked glaringly repainted, likely where it was first accidented, and you'd want someone to look more closely at the second accident driver's door area. I'd also want to hear from a Rennlister how well it drove before I commited $300 or so for the PPI.

This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
