I noticed on the website the primary reason they recommend buying the cables is because the old stock ones break.

I saw the post immediately after you posted it. I should have jumped on it. I tracked my car yesterday and I found myself using 3rd gear more than I have in the past as I slowly improve my skills. Since I will be rowing the gears more, I think I will buy the Numeric shifter. I will have to pay $650 now though. 🙁
