Well, every spring from new my 2004 996 AE has had fresh oil and filter change. Always exciting to check the LN Mag drain plug, cut open the filter and pull a little oil for Blackstone. At 32k mi and change my AE only gets out for special Porsche events. Other cars get more attention. But each time I do drive her I remember why I picked the AE. Another year of clean oil, clean filter, nothing on mag plug. Fresh 0W40 yes, Mobile One going in.

I just did mine Tuesday oil is off to Breakstone. New air filter just arrived. Going to add my 997.1 air box that has been on a shelf for a year. Then to a brake flush. Ahhhh.....the fun of owning a budget super car.

Thanks for the 6 mo oil change tip. I figure every 12 mos has served this car well so far. WP done, sparky done, coil packs done. Fister of course. Light weight GT3 Euro replaced heavy electric seats. PSS10s and Euro ride height and alignment. Love this car. So far BS reports are great. No water or coolant in oil and numbers are good. She gets good and heated up (nice workout drive) every other month here in Sunny SoCal so not a lot of miles but she also doesnt sit for extended periods of time.
