Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

So i installed litronics from a 03 into my 02. The low beams work and the yellow turn signals do too. But the high beams wont turn on and the fog lights wont either Both of these were working in my old lights. The A9/A10 fuses are 15amp and are good. Not sure if im just missing something

POST 2Original post

I assume one car is lightronic and the other is not. If thats the case the connectors may be the same but the wires are pinned at different locations. Maybe more issues but in regards to the highbeam the lighttrontic car has highbeam on pin 4 of the connector. The non lighttronic car is pin 5.

POST 3Original post

X2 on above do a google search on installing litronics into a non litronic car. There r a few threads out there with the specifics for repinning the plug.

POST 4Original post

Is this pin swap a MkII thing? I installed Litronics into my 99 and it was a straight plug n play install.

Personally i am not sure. I just grabbed a copy of both wiring diagrams on the car he listed and did a quick comparison. They didn't match.

POST 6 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I think i found the info about this. fog lights are pin 3 and highs are 4. need to get some pins and make pin 5 split to 3 and 4 i guess
