If those are trashed, I have a set (lock and four matching lugnuts) that I would gladly sell you cheap.

OK gotcha, I appreciate the offer but I am putting in regular lug nuts for the spacer so I won't be using the locking ones...Thanks
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Hey everyone, need your help and advice here.
I just took off one of my back wheels (2001 996 C4) to put on a 15mm spacer (no problem)...went around to the other tire to remove and saw that my lock was stripped.
I looked all over the internet to find the same one to order and can't find it. Can anyone identify what item this is and where I could get a replacement?
Thanks in advance for your help!!!
If those are trashed, I have a set (lock and four matching lugnuts) that I would gladly sell you cheap. I have no use for them in the rural area where I live, so I replaced them with regular lugnuts.
Thank you, are you saying that the wheel lock is the same as the one I pictured? I am checking the Porsche dealer locally to see if they have one. I can only imagine the cost?LOL
I will PM you for details.
The fastest solution i have seen is to take an 11/16th 12 point socket with a breaker bar and hammer the socket onto the bolt...carefully torquing the bolt off never to be used again...
Has anyone done this?
Gotcha.
So your actual question is how to get the other locking bolt(s) off? If so, yes, just hammer a disposable socket onto it (them) and turn it (them) off. Dont waste your money on a new keyed adapter.
Went to Princess Auto and got the two 11/16th 12 point sockets, hammered the socket onto the bolt...used a breaker bar and slowly undid the bolt...was easy no problem...
Placed the spacer on the rear hub and back in business...thanks for all the comments.
Cheers
