Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I swooped in the next day, the old guy let me take her for a 30 minute solo drive while he sat waiting with his buddy the German mechanic (whos shop was filled with Ferraries, Porsches, and two Bentleys), and I came back from a sublime test drive and proceeeded to count out 180 100 dollar bills for my new car.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

This car has exceeded all hopes and expectations. I suddenly found her on AutoTrader after looking at every other 996 for sale in LA and San Diego, and the story behind her was too good to pass up. One owner until six months ago, and the car was cared for, maintained, upgraded, IMSd, RMSd, Water Pumped, you name it, the original owner did it. Then a retired man in his 70s from Newport Beach asked his German mechanic who took care of each of his Mercedes to find him a Porsche Cabriolet. The car belonged to another customer who kept it garaged next to his two Ferraries for 17 years, and used it as a daily driver.
The new owner put $8,000 in tires, wheels, new leather and carpeting, brakes, and several other things, only to realize that his neuropathy was making it too uncomfortable for him to drive a stick shift anymore.

LOVE IT!
Great story and even better car! I'm only a week behind you in ownership and can't get enough of the way these cars drive. They have such an easy and rewarding mechanical feel.
Awesome! they are great cars, done 6000 miles in my cab now and in less than two weeks I'll be taking a 2300 mile roadtrip to vancouver and back!
Drive on
Congrats!
I now have just over 70K miles on my '02 Cab and I've LOVED every minute of ownership. My daily driver, it's never let me down and is always a total BLAST to drive!
Bill
I think you scored on that car! Just got mine out for the summer and I am really enjoying it - this is summer number 5 for me, I daily mine from May to October
