Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

7 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Island to island transport... Shipping my roller over and I want to make sure the ignition is disabled to prevent more damage to the motor. Also want to disable the fuel gauge as the shipper requires 1/4 tank or less. Is there a fuse or two I can have the PO pull?

POST 2Original post

Quick and dirty as they say, disconnecting battery would cover that. Of course make sure you can get back in the frunk!

POST 3Original post

Remove fuse B-1 for the instrument cluster. Remove Starter/Lock Relay in Relay Support Group 2

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks Joe, that what I need to know. Billy, I'm afraid some genius at the dock will put the bat cable on and try starting it come shuffle time.

Ok. I didn't think dock workers would be that "innovative".

POST 6Original post

I'd probably opt to removing the ground strap.

POST 7Original post

Removing fuse E1 alone should be sufficient but please verify it yourself first.
