Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

12 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Natural Grey Leather Medium Grey Carpeting w/aftermarket mats I'm trying to do some research on the original color combo of my 2004 996 C2 Cab. The exterior color is Atlas Grey, and the interior is Natural Grey extended leather. The leather seats, dash and door panels are actually black. The carpeting is a medium grey and the floor mats that were in the 996 when I bought it are very dark grey, almost black. Are these color combos accurate/authentic for the 2004 MY 996? One member told me that Atlas Grey was only available in the 2004 MY. I have the grey Lloyds aftermarket mats in there now. My question is what color floor mats would have come with this original interior setup? /exthree

POST 2Original post

Mine is atlas grey, production in 2004. Interior is full black. Can't find a snapshot quickly.

You're right, I have the X99 Natural Leather. As well, the interior color is natural grey leather and so are the mats specified on the option sticker. I'm slowly coming to the conclusion that natural grey is actually (almost) black. Do you agree? /X3

POST 6Original post

same situ with a 40thAE, Natural Gray...seems very close to black carpet is lighter than black I remember reading about a year ago that the Natural Gray mats were NLA

POST 7Original post

Just what I was thinking. The first 40th AE I looked at had "black" interior, which I later learned was gray? Very dark. I would call it black if Porsche hadn't called it gray.

POST 10Original post

natural grey looks black....until you have black side to side then you'll notice that natural grey is actually lighter

POST 11Original post

If you buy new mats what are your plans with the old ones? I'm looking to buy the exact ones you currently have.
