Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Since then it also has a clean bill of health from Jay at Chris German, he is a really cool guy.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Hi I'm Nate, earlier this spring I flew down to the Bay Area and picked up my first Porsche.

I love it! I drove it from SF up 101 back to the Seattle area. Have roughly 3000 miles since April.
So far I have deleted the center console, pumkinectomy, had the wheels powder coated in the black, and put on some new rubber. I was planning on upgrading the suspension but am happy with the car the way it is now. Just gonna enjoy it for the summer.
Looking forward to hopefully getting in a DE or two this summer, just have to see how the schedule works out this summer.
Nate
Oh yah! Perfect daily driver. Car tracks great in snow and wet.
Your car looks great and probably its going to give you some of the nicest warm feeling during the winter rain months.
Nate,
Welcome to Rennlist. Congrats on getting the black beauty! Thanks for the pics!
<Tim whispers so Nate can't hear.... Damn, I hate being nice to Newbies!>
45,000 miles, about a month before I bought it the prev owner replaced clutch, spark plugs, along with other normal stuff. This was done at Hi Tec in San Rafael. I looked for about 6 months until I found this one, I was really considering a 997. As soon as I picked it up though I was very happy to have the 996...more than enough car for a yahoo like me. Since then it also has a clean bill of health from Jay at Chris German, he is a really cool guy. And although i don't know a ton about Porsche at this point in the ball game, I get the feeling that Jay really knows 996's
Nate
Yes it is a C4/Turbo front clip done by the prev owner, I like it a lot. The lower lip needs replacing though. Nothing horrible just a bit scuffed up and one of the splitters is actually split.
And I love the looks of those ceramic tips...I think I will look into that for sure. Right now the only bit of silver left on the car are the tips so I think it would tie it all together really well. Any advise on where to get them or have them coated? Maybe I'll ask the guys who did the wheels as they seemed very up to date on coating stuff. I'm also toying with the idea of having the tail light smoked kind of up in the air on that one though.
Here is a not so great pic of the console delete, apologies in advance for the angle, I am not the best photographer in the world
I'm about 6'2" and it really does make it feel much less cramped.
