Read evidence and context
Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

0 original-poster resolution reports. Counts can overlap; they are not unique people or a success rate.
0 discussions have direct query context; 0 report a fix in that context. Other evidence may inherit the discussion’s subject.

Leading evidence: 'Use of a different thread' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Use of a different thread' (1 discussions). Source reports, not a diagnosis or a success probability. Counts refer to discussions and can overlap.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Looking to buy a low mile in the either colors with sports exhaust system as a factory option and black leather interior (but flexible):
1. Meridian Metallic
2. Polar Silver Metallic
3. Atlas Grey Metallic
Thanks guys!
Statistically speaking, you can narrow you search to Atlas Grey because, according to the color chart on the RennTech web site, Polar Silver and Meridian Metallic were offered only in '03.
That must be an old pic, because I think he has already done that. However, no one knows for sure because his car never sees the light of day.
As proof, here is a pic of Phil's car squinting in the bright sun light the last time it saw the light of day. Plus, look at the bags under its "eyes!" Too much time in "solitary confinement!" Not a pretty sight!
About 10 minutes from the time the idea popped into my head until the final touches on the P-shop... and worth every second, if it involves Phil's orphan... er... I mean car.
BTW Wayne, where the hell have you been for the last couple of weeks? The "little one" keeping you busy!
You missed all of the news.
10 mins. I'm impressed. Nice job.
News, what news?
Yeah, I know I've not been around much... you guessed correctly... combination of having my father around for a week and the little one keeping us busy... It has been quite an interesting couple of weeks.
I'm so sorry. I hope that something turns up soon.
The only recruiter calls I'm getting are for people wanting me to take VP positions in India... yeah, like that will happen.
I'm naturally an optimist, but this mess has me worried... my industry is starting to get hit... this week our competitors have laid off thousands of people and given mandatory 2 week vacations to their entire US workforce. We're hurting, but the hammer hasn't fallen yet. It's going to be a wild ride.
Are you on linkedin? I find that to be my best source of getting recruiter contacts.... if you're not on there, then you should register and get connected to your network. Recruiters are always trawling for fresh meat.
Yes, you are probably right, I should have sent a PM rather than usiing this thread. Sorry.
On the other hand, what you don't realize is that we have been keeping this thread near the top of page 1. In case you hadn't noticed, your thread would be buried on page 2 by now because it would have died after the 8th post on 12-1. Go look at page 2 of this Forum. All of of the last posts in those threads are dated 11-27 to 12-3 and this thread would be right in the middle of page 2.
That is whey it is happy! Here is what it looks like when it is the garage. Frown on its face, blood shot eyes from crying, side mirrors drooping from loneliness. I call it "Porsche in an Iron Mask"
OMG Tim. You have outdone yourself. Now, I don't know whether to drive it 20K miles a year, or never drive it again. Not sure how to get it out of its depression. It may wind up going to therapy with me. If the shrink charges me $175 an hour, he'll charge at least $250 an hour for the car. I can't see it's tailpipes, but if they're drooping too, it's gonna be aa lot more than one therapy session. It's a
Porsche
you know, and
everything
costs more on Porsches!
Tail pipes are touching the garage floor... not a good sign!
In anticipation of your future visits, your therapist, Dr. Shrinkmeister, has already begun his search for a Carrera GT. He figures that it will take three sessions per week to keep this problem from becoming terminal.
Dry, no problem. It's the salt and cinders I worry about. That's why my baby is covered. But, if no snow (and we had zero last winter), I will take the car out weekly (not weakly) to exercise it.
Hey Wayne, I just thought of something. In a few years when Phil decides to sell his C4S, I imagine that the AutoTrader add will start out something loke this:
2004 C4S Coupe, 6-speed manual transmission, 3,800 miles (yes, three thousand eight humdred miles), Car Cover Silver over Black Full Leather.....
Oh stop it.... just STOP IT!!!
Some of us may have been born at night, but not last night! Who the hell do you think you are kidding? I don't believe that for one moment!
The only time you will get the C4S out of solitary confinement is to get a new $210 battery at Hoberts!
Wayne, keep the month of January open for your annual pilgrimage to Holberts.
I think it's $250 now since they're not selling any new cars. You watch, I drove it last weekend (after it was put away for storage) and I'm gonna do it, well, at least
every 2 weeks.
I don't want to find a dead, leaking battery again this winter. But, Wayne - keep your cell phone on, please.
Aww, come on. No, I don't take the car out whent here are piles of salt on the roads, but if the conditions are dry and otherwise nice, then there's no reason not to be out.
I know it... it's just like one of those recurring nightmares. Phil's promises of driving his car are sounding pretty hollow right now.
My car was out last weekend and I expect it to be out again this weekend.
